Terms of use
OutdoorQ sends you out into real streets. A few rules so it stays fun and nobody gets hurt.
Updated June 13, 2026
What OutdoorQ is
OutdoorQ is outdoor escape games played on your phone. One team plays one session and moves through real streets following the app's prompts.
Safety comes first
- Watch your surroundings, not just the screen. The app guides you, but your safety is up to you. Cross at crossings, watch out for traffic, cyclists and obstacles.
- Respect the environment. Don't enter private property, don't climb where you shouldn't, and leave places as you found them.
- Play considerately. Be polite to passers-by and don't disturb the peace at night.
- Children only with an adult. Minors always play with a grown-up.
You play at your own risk and your own judgement. An app prompt never takes precedence over common sense or traffic rules.
Your content and Studio games
In Studio you can create and play your own games. You're responsible for keeping your content legal, harmless to others, and clear of sending players to dangerous or off-limits places. Your own games stay stored only on your device.
What we (don't) promise
We provide OutdoorQ “as is”. We do our best to make routes sensible and the game work, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, GPS or map accuracy, or the state of places in the field. Traffic, weather and opening hours change.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for damage arising from play — including injuries, losses or accidents in the field. The game is fun, not navigation for critical decisions.
Changes to the terms
We may revise these terms; you'll always find the current version here with the date at the top. By continuing to play after a change, you agree to it.
